Can anyone tell me some general info on the EU headquarters?

I am doing a school project and there is literally no information about any of it.

I already know that it's in Brussels the capital of Belgium.

Also that it is being rebuilt and modernized....

The HQ building of the European Commission is called Berlaymont, if you google it I'm sure you'll find lots of info on it.

It had to be evacuated because of asbestos, and the decontamination and renovation took much longer than planned and went way over budget. The work was completed a couple of years ago and the building is now occupied by the European Commissioners and their staff. Of course there are many other office buildings in Brussels occupied by the EU institutions, including the massive European Parliament.
