Can anyone tell me some items that I can't bring back from Mexico?

I know about fruits..veggies..animals...But I am asking about gifts for family and friends. I have read about having to pay duties on the internet. I am just wondering if anyone has been and brought back things like jewelry and clothing...just gifts and I understand that you can only bring back a certain dollar amount before you have to pay taxes (duties) on those items. I'm just totally confused. Someone help me understand.

allright, i went to mexico about...4 weeks ago

i think you cant take fruits or veggies (they took the fruit away from my dad)

you can only take a certain amout of liquid, if not any

my grandpa brought ground chily's a while ago, and it was taken away

you dont have to pay "duties"

you can definetly bring back jewelery and clothes

Mexicans and the US don't worry too much about duties, unless your driving a truck? Don't declare anything and you will be fine. Unless of course you have illegal things.....drugs,people?
