How do I increase a commander's Management and Influence on rome total war?

Aye build academies and temples, another tip, when conquering towns enslave the population, so that your towns grow faster allowing you to upgrade your academy quickly improving education in that settlement. By using the family tree scroll (I assume you know where that is) you can set your commander as faction leader, instantly giving him bonuses whilst detracting from the other persons. Also, in many instances your commander may not be suited to a management role. Sometimes, commanders are best kept with what they do best - commanding. If they have negative traits that decrease law and public order it's best to move them out. A member of the family that has just come of age is a good option for a governor, because throughout his life he will gain the necessary skills to influence the population and raise public order.     Building temples also increases your influence.
