  1. I went to Rome last summer, it was amazing.  I'm in LOVE with Italy!  The best thing you can do is go, DON'T plan to go to places, DON'T act all touristy.  If you do, you'll either get mugged (I'm serious)  or you won't enjoy it.  Go and just walk the streets, go to any cafe, just EXPLORE.

  2. -The Vatican (Holy See)

    -The Colosseum

    -The "Via Agrippa"

    -The museums & galleries

    -The Spanish Steps

....and lots of more to see in Rome!  Rome is great. Rome is beautiful.  All roads leads to Rome! :-)

    Greetings from Germany!! :-)

  3. Therre are so many more than 10.  Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica in  the Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Campidoglio & Capitoline Museums, Piazza Venezia and the Victor Emmanuelle II monument (which is also the tomb of the unknown soldier of Italy), Pantheon, Santa Maria Sopa Minerva (just behind the Pantheon, with Michelangelo's "Risen Christ"), Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna & Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo & Santa Maria del Popolo (Caravaggio's "The Crucifixion of St. Peter" & "The Conversion of St. Paul"), Villa Borghese & Museo e Galleria Borghese

(Bernini's "Rape of Proserpine", "Apollo and Daphne" & "David"), Santa Maria della Vittoria (Bernini's "Ecstacy of St. Teresa"), San Pietro in Vincoli ("Michelangelo's "Moses"), Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, The Catacombs, and many of the more than  600 churches in Rome, where much of the art is located.  Nearly every church in Rome has at least one major piece of art.

  4. St Peters and the Vatican museum. Make sure you go past at night time as well.

Castel Sant'Angelo. Go right to the top.

    The Colosseum

    The Forum and Palatine Hill

Piazza Navona and the bars in the area. La Botticella is run by a Canadian/American and you can find someone to talk to in English. Da Francesco does cheap but fantastic pizzas.

    Villa Borghese

Via Appia and the catacombs. There's nothing creepy left in there and the history is amazing.

For expensive shopping (like there's another kind in Italy) all around the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti etc. For cheaper shopping, the Chinese area around Stazione Termini.

  5. - Vatican City

    - Castel Sant. Angelo

    - Colloseum

    - GELATO!!!!! (Italian Ice Cream, don't be fooled by the Americanization of Gelato... ITALIAN GELATO RULES!!!)

    - Pantheon

    - And sooooo much more! U NEVER run out of stuff to do!!!!!!!
