  1. Little: u-s-ti (pronunciation key: u: as (oo) in fool; i as in pig;  s, t, as in English; so it is "ooh sss tee ".  Or--"u-s-di" pronounced as  "ooh sss dee".

Bear : yo-na  (n & y as in English ; o: as in note approaching aw in law; a: as in father, so maybe like "yoh nah"?? It is sometimes spelled "yo-nv" , pronounced as  "yoh nuh ".

Sooooooo, I am assuming it would be as "u-s-ti  yo-na"

This site tells the correct syllabary to use to write it in Cherokee (won't copy/paste however. )  --  http://www.wehali.com/tsalagi/index.cfm?...

(You need to download the Cherokee font from the Cherokee Nation website to see the Cherokee Translation. At

    http://www.cherokee.org/Culture/Download...

    (I hope this helps a little. )

  2. Oh-Prah
