Can anyone tell me the best hotels in Varadero?

I am looking for something with a variety of water sports and good night life at the resort also want all inclusive 24 hours.

I stayed at Barcelo Solymar.

They have a 24 hour bar-maybe more then one, not sure.

they have tons of bars during the day though.

at the beach there are lots of activities and by the bigger pool they have a giant chess, checkers, and connect 4 boards.

they also put on shows inside everynight at 9.

and during the day alot of stuff goes on by the bigger pool that has all the games i mentioned before.

the hotel also has a place where you can sign up for activities outside of the hotel- a bus will pick you up and drop you back off.

you should go on the catamaran, its so fun, and you get to take a picture with the dolphins too.

there are many clubs outside of the hotel-closeby.

and the hotel is all inclusive.

the food they have is pretty north american. it does taste a little different due to the climate.

the breakfasts are delicious.

i really enjoyed my stay there. :)

Sol Meliá resorts are excellent hotels with excellent staff and entertainment. You may enjoy Tryp Península Varadero, Paradisus Varadero or Meliá Varadero.

Also, you may consider Iberostar as well.

The best hotel is the Bella Costa.  it has a night club right in the hotel, plus the BEST club in varadero is La Rumba which is a 5 minute walk from the bella costa.  There are a lot of water sports, patle boats, kiacks, snorkaling, and for an extra dollar per person you can go on the banana boat,  they also have under water diving.  the resort also lends out moutain bikes, they have tennis, and achery. in the resort's pool there is volly ball basket ball and water polo.  the food is alright but you don't really go on vaction just to eat.  the rooms are very nice and clean and the resort staff is AWSOME!  there is a lot to do and a lot to see.  the bella costa is the place to do it
