Can anyone tell me the best place to launch my boat?

can anyone tell me the best place to launch my boat with the best chance of catching big fish im in the lancashire area, sea fishing would be the ideal on this or has anyone a site that shows you slipways

It's always best to go out and scout out what is there. If you are in Lancs, then spend an afternoon cruising around in your car looking at potential launch sites locally in Lancashire. I always like to know what the slipway looks like, how good or bad it is, before I take my hard-earned boat anyway near it.

water other wise you might have a tuff time moveing the boat and  not to mention the fuel mileage will be terrible

The RYA put out a book yearly updated list of all UK launch sites with prices and facilities. Should be in any chandler's or marina shop, or buy online at rya.org.
