Hi, I am looking for the correct date for pancake day here in the UK, for 2008. I am also interested in obtaining/finding information of any interested parties that maybe interested in receiving orders for American Style Pancakes who currently reside in the Leeds West Yorkshire area. many Thanks...

It's the day before Ash Wednesday, 6 weeks before Easter.  In 2008 it's on 5th February (almost the earliest it can be).

Pancake day, or Shrove Tuesday, is 5 February in 2008.  I don't have any info to the second part of your question.

This year it's 5th February.

Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday. Because that falls 40 days before Easter day it varies from year to year, as Easter is a 'movable feast'.
