Can anyone tell me the difference between the Cursive and Script writing???

My 4 yr old kid is studying in CBSE school where they have are following the script writing....

  3. That was an interesting answer, Mr. Knowitall.  I always thought they were the same thing.

  4. Script is writing where all the letters in a word are linked, where you go from one letter to another without lifting the pen.  

    I know this because I do engraving for a living.  But it is a completely trivial distinction.  Most people use the terms interchangeably.

    Also called "script," a form of handwriting in which each letter of a word is connected to another letter. Contrast with "block lettering" or "printing," in which the individual letters do not touch.
