kudos, keep it up, its well said by the other answerer, and that's right, i have not found any downside, but u will have to incorporate 3 things, 1. know the advantages of blogging, 2. learn to make it a commercial-knowledge data base, 3. try to implement certain email/blogging marketing/SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION), BY WHICH U WL EARN AND U WL BE SHOWING OTHERS TOO.

Your blog is amazing, in the maybe five minutes I looked at it it really made me think. The pictures, the words, the messages behind both is definitely the upside.

     The only downside might be I've never heard of it. (If you haven't) try getting it on Google, and on other search engines, the more you expose your site, the more people like me read it and love it and learn from it! :)
