There are lots of wonderful sights in Tuscany. First of all, in Florence. Piazza della Signoria, lungarno, Pontevecchio,  Palazzo Pitti, Boboli ecc..

Pisa and its piazza dei Miracoli, as the person before me wrote, is a very popular "shot".

Siena (my opinion) got the most beautiful Italy's piazza. Piazza del Campo is the place where twice a year there's a famous Palio horse race which is one of the most famous popular Italian manifestations. It takes place every year on July 2 and August 16.

If you want to enjoy a beautiful countryside you have to drive from Florence to Siena.Than going towards to Maremma, maybe visiting Val d'Orcia and Massa Marittima. There you can drink one of the best italian wines: "Morellino di Scansano". The sea is beautiful from Livorno to south and definitly gorgeous around Isola d'Elba.

I'm italian and I live in Bologna (100 km north of Florence), but i really love Tuscany. I hope you enjoy your stay there.
