Can anyone tell me the longest possible distance you can travel in a straight line over water?

You could travel in an infinite straight line if you circumnavigated the globe at Latitude 6 South, just north of Antarctica and passed between the Antarctic peninsula and Cape Horn South America.

Otherwise you could travel a very long straight line in the Pacific Ocean starting in eastern Russia near the international date-line, pass between the Aleutian Islands, skirt along Baja California, and along the Coast of Chile until you hit Antarctica.

There is an interesting possibility if you start in Karachi, Pakistan, head south-west to pass between Africa and Madagascar, curve around the tip of Africa and across the southern ocean, then  around South America into the Pacific, and northwards to the Russian Kamchatka peninsula.   That is the longest sea voyage you can take on a "great circle", which is the closest thing there is to a long distance "straight line" on water.  It's about 19,820 miles (assuming no islands or icebergs get in the way).

starting point like russia or canada go around the world going as far south to pole as you can then your go  to ausie and keep south untill you come to africa then head south up the usa across the nothwest passage down canada and usa mexico south america i used russia as starting point so can go no further with out crossing line but you could sail forever if you want to.

You cannot travel in a straight line anywhere on Earth, because it is a curved plain.  Check out some non-Euclidean geometry to get a better idea of curvilinear travel.

Technically , 0.  The earth is round, therefore you can never truly travel in a straight line.  You would always be curving.
