Hi have just been camping and our brand new tent collapsed on one side, it was a lichfield mohawk. The wind was quite strong but didn't expect this to happen after the first use!! Can anyone recommend a good strong tent that will stand up to the wind! We are a famliy of 3 but wouldn't mind a bit of extra space.

Thanks.

  1. I have got a coleman columbus 4 polycotton. It stood up to this horrible weather these last few weeks.

    Outwell are good too.

Kyham Tunnel tents have extra struts along the side to strengthen them too.

  2. The North Face Trailhead 8

Three-room cabin tent.A multi-room tent is more comfortable for families, but they obviously cost more. The well-built The North Face tent is praised for its combination of excellent ventilation with full-coverage rainfly. Well-protected vestibules cover both doors and add space for gear. Owners say it withstands high winds and driving rain, and is easy to pitch and later pack up again.
