  1. I cant but i can tell you a funny story about those flags. i was at the beach last year, and the tide was out, and i was walking on the slippy wet sand. i saw a flag and noticed it had writing on it and decided to get closer to have a good look. Just as i managed to make out that it said, danger very soft sand, i sank into it up to my knees and had to be pulled free by a life guard. i was screaming uncontrollably because i truelly thought i was going to sink right in and die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. red is, no swimming at all, and i thought the red and yellow one is caution and the yellow one is safe to swim in between

  3. if you are in the uk

red and yellow flags: the area between this flag is the area that is patrolled and observed by lifeguards and is usually the safest place to swim

REF flag: a single red flag anywhere on the beach indicates the water is unsafe to swim in, this may also apply to an area inbetween two red flags

Chequed flag: watersports or surfing area, wind surfing and regular surfing etc take place here and it will be dangerous for swimmers and bodyboarders

the red and yellow 'between the flags' system is popular in many countries including ireland and austrailier

  4. http://www.rnli.org.uk/

this site as the details of beach flags and other info for the UK

  5. Red....no swimmers aloud in.

    Amber...strong swimmers aloud it.

    Green...everyone is aloud in!

Had to obey it in mexico ya see... x
