Look for 'Hotel Transit' nearest station Sants Estascio. Has bed & shower with toilet, all you need really. I spent £190 for 2ppl sharing a room for 5 nights

Im off to Barcelona in 2 weeks - staying at the Jazz Hotel - dont think its overly priced but its sounds fab - will let you know when i get back!!

Ramblas Hotel - Really nice, great location (close to beach, shops, marina etc.) a double room cost me about £100 a night ( i dont know if thats expensive or not - but it was a big double with a hugh private balcony)
