Can anyone tell me the name of the BBC series where people went to the -est places on earth?

For instance, the hottest place on earth, the driest place on earth, the wettest place on earth, and so on? I think this series went on air in 2002 or 2003. I also think it is on sale in dvd?

If anyone knows the name of this series, i would appreciate it.
