so that obama could start his political career by obtaining her state senate seat ?

i know obamabots will deny but can they deny the scorched earth of opponents during his bid for us senate seat namely blair hull, jack ryan and alan keyes all 3 of them had very vicious attacks on personal family matters much like what is starting to happen to gov pallin but i m sure the obama stance is he cant control his supporters it s just a coincedence

I would argue rather that Obama can't control the media.  It was reporters from the Chicago Tribune and the local ABC affiliate that petitioned to have the case unsealed in the Ryan case, which involved a s*x scandal.  Blair Hull allegedly abused his ex-wife.  Opposing candidates did join the media in pressuring him to open the case.  While no charges were ever filed in the case, spousal abuse is a serious crime and character flaw.  When Obama said we should leave family out of the campaign, he was referring to leaving a husband or wife out of the campaign or leaving children or aunts or uncles out of the campaign.  Blair Hull engaged in a physical fight with his ex-wife before their devorce and allegedly threatened to kill her.  It's the public's business to know weather one of their candidates has made death threats against another person.  I don't think Obama can be condemned for wanting that particular case reopened.  The media, not Obama, labeled Allen Keyes as a carpet-bagger.  Well, he wasn't a native of Illinois.  That's not a family issue, it's a campaign issue.  Alice Palmer initially supported Obama as her successor.  Obama was impatient, and chose not to wait for her to retire from the senate before he could be elected.  he was politically aggressive.  Well, that's not a bad quality for a politician to exhibit.
