  1. got stars on silks with pink

  2. Yeah ill tell you the winner of the grand national tomorrow!

  3. A dead heat between the 1st past the post and the bookies.

  4. Yes, I can.  It will be Comply or Die.  It will win at 7/1, beating King Johns Castle by four lengths.

Snowy Morning and Slim Pickings make up the top four.

  5. A horse will win the grand national.

  6. Probably a horse with 4 legs...thats where I'm putting my money, anyway!

  7. The Bookie

  8. The name has a vowel in it. I will be 100% correct.

  9. My favourites this year are:

Slim Pickings(12/1) has an excellent chance this year. 3rd last year and is ridden by Barry Geraghty who is a former winning jockey in this race.

Simon (12/1) is ridden by Davis Elsworth and was going well last year and would have been in the frame but took an unfortunate tumble...these things happen in this race.

Comply or Die (10/1) should be there or thereabouts. Great chance.

    Two outsiders

D'Argent (25/1) has recently returned to form and is an attractive price

Joacci (66/1) is a lively outsider at a decent price. Can be a really excellent horse on his day but he does have some bad days...at 66/1 though got to be worth an each-way bet.

Knowing my recent record on the Grand National none of these will win or be placed. Good luck with whatever horses you choose.

Finally if you have access to the prices(from all bookmakes) on all the horses for the Grand National then look at them early tomorrow morning i.e before 8am. If one firm, especially ladbrokes, are going much lower than all the others on one particular horse then its worth a go at the other bookies but take the price.

An example of this was when Pappilon won the race. Ladbrokes were 12/1 but all of the other bookies were going 33/1 or 40/1. It turned out that the day before one of Ladbrokes top men played a round of golf with the trainer / owner.

  10. I like back beat

    100/1

he hasn't raced in a month or two and apparently is best in from after a rest. He also has pace.

heres the article in the sun.

"Fragile individual, made winning reappearence at sandown in January, probably best when fresh so recent break is a plus, jumps well, pace claims."

Although obviously I'd put it on each way!

  11. HEDGEHUNTER.....25/1

  12. Backbeat i reckon.

  13. no but if u had asked me for the lottery numbers...............

  14. I am afraid that race is anybodys ,But I am going to have a flutter on Comply or die

  15. I'm going for Butler's Cabin...

If you are having an each-way bet, some bookmakers are paying out on the first 5 home.... so it's worth having a look around.

  16. Fat Ken. Only three legs, but loves the firm, good contender on a 4 mile.
