Can anyone tell me what Variety or kind of Venus Fly Trap this is that i own? Pictures included.?

  1. All venus fly traps are the same species, Dionaea muscipula.

    It's not surprising that you see some differences between individual plants, though.  Just as no two people will grow at the same rate.  There are differences in the genetics, maybe in the potting mix, or pot size as well.  Also, not all of the plants may be the same age.

    And if you don't have all the plants growing side-by-side, you will also have slight differences in temperature, lighting, humidity, etc.

  2. Hey Raheem,

    If your plant didn't come labeled and it doesn't adhere to any particular cultivated variety characteristics, then it is just a typical Venus Fly Trap.  There is a lot of variety among typical venus fly traps in trap color, growth rate and trap size.  It's not uncommon to have a particular plant grow much faster than the rest of your plants.
