Can anyone tell me what is a leaseback and how a buyer can benefit from this.?

Im thinking of buying a freehold hotel room in Egypt. These hotel rooms and apartments a fully serviced by a company called pyramisa. They also offer a leaseback which is optional..can anyone shed some light on this scheme. Thank you.

You sell the room back to the company who then rent it to you.

I fail to see anyway that you could benefit unless there is some tax angle
