When I got this it was a tiny green sprout found on the ground about 1 inch across - now it's 4 to 6 inches across and - lo and behold it bloomed!!

I have no idea what it is. Any suggestions?

The flowers are so tiny (1/2 inch across) and my camera so cheap I'd be hard pressed to get a decent shot. The flowers are 3 petal white with what looks like white stamens and pistils. Since it started to bloom there are two (1/4 inch across) new plants emerging under the second layer down leaves. I was wondering if it might be a bromeliad because the leaves have a fine saw tooth type edge. The flowers are almost wax-like. http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o3/asyme_trik/garden2008/?action=view&current=P1010023-1.jpg
