  1. it looks like it is the shape of a figure 8 it is on older trailers i had to go to a trailers sales to by the s***w driver.i'm not sure what year they stop making those screws and replaced them with squared head screws

  2. it's a terrible photo, but it looks like either a square or philips drive button head sheet metal s***w.  If the head is a little square, that would be square drive, the cross is philips.

  3. The two answers before me are correct. It is a clutchhead. They can be purchased at most hardware stores. They come in several sizes so take your s***w with you. They come as  screwdriver type or as bits to use in an power drill.or screwgun...good luck

  4. It's a Clutch Head s***w.  I had several campers in the 70s and 80s and both of them had these.  I got a driver in a set from Sears.

Probably the best place to get one is a mobile home or RV dealer such as

  5. I think you would wast your time and money purchasing a driver for them screws they will probably strip out anyway. find a way to cut the heads off or grind a flat grove to use a Flathead on. just my few sense worth. I know its about fifty screws per window. Your right clutch head type g

  6. looks like a combination square phillips head s***w but don't even waste your time with a phillips use a square driver

  7. It's called a Robertson head.  You should be able to find a s***w driver for it.  If you can't there is screwdriver called a 10 way driver in the electrical dept of any home improvement center. There are 3 sizes of robertson drivers. Yours will be a #2.  It's actually the same size driver used in many electrical boxes today.  Good Luck.

  8. Its a Clutch Head s***w

There are different versions of "TamperProof" screws

these were replaced by "Torx" head screws

    then by Tamper proof torx

use a pair of vicegrips to start it to turn then a flat head s***w driver that fits inside to keep turning it.

throw it away when your done and replace it with a common s***w

  9. Scroll down on this website and choose the one that is closer to what you have.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/s***w  You can buy a damaged s***w remover that may or may not help.  It might be easier to drill the head off the s***w.

  10. It is a special head but I don't know what it is called. Since you have one out take it to a specialty hardware supplier. Tacoma s***w comes to mind.  It is not a Robertson (square drive), Torx, Phillips, Reed and Prince, Allen or Posidrive. It is a tamper proof specialty item that is common in the trailer industry about 20 years ago.  Good Luck.

  11. uh, that is the worst picture ive ever seen.  but going through the cat scratch id have to say its probably a square drive
