Right eye SPH -.6.75 CYL -1.50 and AXIS 40 Left DIST SPH -6.00, CYL -1.00 AXIS 150 BVD 13mm. I wear contact lenses for distrance and glasses for reading but the optician says he cannot correct my vision in my right eye as I can only read the top line of the chart and no lenses make any difference. I am very concerned can anyone shed any light on the matter. Sorry for the pun.

  1. 20/20 is perfect eyesight. I can't help you here, sorry

  2. You are Nearsighted with Astigmatism...

    Same problem here...

  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20/20_visio...

  4. Without more information it is difficult to tell you what is going on.  If your vision in you right eye has always been poor it is likely a lazy eye.  If the poor vision is new then there is likely a cataract or other pathology limiting your sight.
