MARTIN LUTHER KING WAS A 'REPUBLICAN', I KNEW THIS SINCE I HAVE STUDIED HISTORY....ALSO THE DEMOCRATS  WERE FIGHTING MARTIN LUTHER KING  THEY WERE TRYING VERY HARD TO KEEP THE BLACKS DOWN....NOT ONLY ROBERT BYRD WAS A KLAN MEMBER , ALSO BILL CLINTON WAS...IT WAS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT WAS HELPING MARTIN LUTHER KING ...MANY WHITE REPUBLICANS ALSO LOST THEIR LIVES HELPING THE BLACKS...ABORTION WAS CREATED BY (MARGARET SANGER) A CORD  DEMOCRAT KLAN'S WOMAN THAT STARTED THE ABORTION TO KILL OFF THE BLACK PEOPLE...ALSO WELFARE WAS CREATED FOR THE BLACKS BY THE DEMOCRAT PARTY, DEMOCRAT'S  DID THIS TO KEEP THE BLACK PEOPLE DOWN.....IT WAS THE RE PUBLICAN'S THAT STARTED THE 'NAACP' FOR THE BLACKS...


  2. Democratic. MLK was democratic. I'm not sure of the quote but MLK disliked the republican party as they were against the civil rights act.

    Totally totally wrong. Democratic party was for the Civil Rights Act, mainly because JFK was for the Civil Rights Act. Plus,Mansfield and Humphrey (democrats) were the lead supporters of the bill. Also, Johnson signed the bill. Republicans were against the Civil Rights Act. Plus, he was quoted saying "There must be a better distribution of wealth, and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism."

    Just because he was a Christian does not make him a chistian

  4. MLK was a Republican, and the Democrats opposed both the 1957 and 1964 Civil Rights Acts.  MLK was also anti-abortion, explained his neice who protested Planned Parenthood putting him on their website during Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
