Can anyone tell me what the effect of the monster "moisture creature" mean.

Question

i played my friend using moisture creature but he thinks that because of the word "if" in the beginning of the card effect, the effect of the monster might have a different meaning.

effect:

"If you Tribute Summon this monster by Tributing 3 monsters on the field, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field."

i think the card effect means that if i tribute three monsters on the field and summon him then all magic and trap cards on your opponents side of the field will be destroyed. but if i special the moisture creature (monster reborn, call of the haunted) then the effect that says to destroy your opponents magic and trap cards will not work.

He is talking about Yu-Gi-Oh. This doesnt belong in this topic, and I dont think anyone knows anything about Yu-Gi-Oh.
