Can anyone tell me what type of tense is this.please explain in details and also tell me in which form is ''got'' and admitted'' are,whether in past tense form or past participle form and why.

The sentence is;

''I got admitted''.

it is past tense because of the "ed" at the end of the word and got is past tense, get is present
