Can anyone tell me whats a job as a FBI Agent in Homicide is like?

is it fun,boring,hard do you have to solve cases everyday? i have the choice of the FBI job or Federal fire fighter and i chose FBI in homicide. and i want to know what it's like. Does anyone know anyone with this kind of job?

Most homicides are covered by state law, so the FBI would not get involved. The FBI only has authority for federal crimes.
