Then you don't need credit, you need to get your score up and pay cash, not put youself into debt!

I think your average response to this question is that you do not need to get a credit card.  If your credit score is so low then you probably have a lot of outstanding debt as it is.  If you just completely need to get a credit card then a secure card is your best bet.  It works like this.  Give the bank $300.  They hold on to that and give you a card with a $300 limit.  You treat the card like any other.  Use it, pay off the balance or pay interest on what you do not pay, have minimum payments, and all of the other perks of holding a card.  Later, when you close the card, the bank will apply the $300 deposit to your balance and give you whatever is left over.  The card is secure meaning that it has that $300 as security that you will pay off the card.  That bank is protected.  This can be used to rebuild your credit.

However, your score is pretty low and you should spend some time just paying off bills instead.  Save up some money and do things like that.

Don't even think about it.   Eliminate the credit cards from your life.  Either get very serious about your money and have the discipline to live within your means or find a second job or other income source.

Credit cards are BAD!
