  1. My puppy acted EXACTLY like that when she was about 16 weeks old and we'd just brought her home from the Humane Society.

You don't mention what kind of food you have been feeding her, but my puppy just flat out refused to eat what we were feeding her and that is why she was acting that way, I guess the food didn't agree with her.  She also laid around sleeping all day.

Put a good quality puppy food out for her, and try mixing it with a moist food and see if she will eat that.  Just a small amount, maybe 1/2 cup of dry food with 1/4 to 1/2  can of the moist food.   Keep water out for her and let her sleep if she wants.  Our puppy took to it right away.  Don't give her any table food.   It always seems to give ours the runs.

I was worried my puppy was going to starve herself to death but after a couple of says of of taking care of her she was fine.

    Hope this helps.

  2. TAKE HER TO A VET.

    Jesus.

Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

  3. You need to take her to the Vet. She may be really sick!

She is most likely dehydrated as well. You should go out and buy some unflavored pedialyte immediately and give it to her.

  4. Take her to the vet asap, a pup can dehydrate really quickly.  Make sure that she is taking fluids.

  5. Many things can cause that, only a vet can fix it.

  6. the best thing to do is take her to a vet if she has a virus then it could be ether deadly to a small pup like her if she dose not have the right treatment in time or it could be that she has worms or is dehydrated if u take her to a vet and they say she needs to eat something but she wont eat you need take a syringe put soft puppy food in it hold her down and put it in her mouth same with water if she wont drink that but until u take her to the vet dont give her food it might not help the situation

  7. worms & dehydration, get it to the vet but try to get some fluids in

  8. That doesn't sound good. I'd get her to a vet right away. Parvo has signs like this. If she's drinking a lot that's another sign. If Parvo isn't treated right away it will kill her. If it's just worms they give her an oral medication that kills the worms in her tummy and she poops them out. Either way get her to a vet!

If you can't afford a regular vet look up your local Humane Society. They will often treat a pet for free or for a lot less money than a regular vet.

Don't let the little girl suffer. Get her some help ASAP!

  9. i would take her to a vet.  it could be a lot of things.  worms maybe?

  10. take her to the vet asap. in the meantime make sure she has water and dont give her anything to eat, she could have a virus and may need antibiotics. has she had her vaccinations ??
