Can anyone tell me when air conditioning was put in cars?

In the late 1920's to early1930's there was a kind of swamp cooler that started to appear then the depression stopped them and then WW2 . They started to come into being used in the very early 1950's . then in the 1960"s refrigerated systems (mostly dealer installations) started being used and was much more efficient and easy-er to use.
