Can anyone tell me when the Windemere Steam Boat Museum will be reopened.?

I have had a look on the internet but I cant seem to find out how long the Restoration project is likely to go on for.

They use phrases like "it is hoped" on thier website with no dates at all.

Most projects that have a real plan have real dates because they will be backed by grant funding. The grant applications process would require detailed planning.

It seems they don't have that yet.

shame, when we were up ther last year I would have fancied a visit but it was just a closed, fenced off,  waterside corregated workshop.

They have taken on a huge project, and often it takes a year or two to complete such work.  Here is a link with contact information which may help you.
