Cartoon nonsense. If you are really interested in learning the art of the Japanese sword - then ask that question. I will be happy to give advice. In the mean time be careful you don't hurt yourself with your fantasy sword - chances are it is not up to be swung around.

they never existed it was something that was made up for rouruni kenshin.

also the reason he uses it is not to kill people so he uses the blut edge... just go learn to use a normal katana and find someone who can make you a revers blade.

since they were an invention from manga comics there is no real style of swordplay that teaches you how to use such a weapon.

I have never even heard of a real counterpart being made.

There isn't a style that uses the reverse blade katana. There isn't any sworsman ever recorded using a sword like that. Now, they have probably been made, but probably just for show. It would probably be hard to make also, because you would have to reverse they way you make it. There isn't a master, or school that uses this sword, and that is a fact. You probably got the sword from the ruroni kenshin manga right? Well, the sword doesn't exist in combat.
