Can anyone tell me where i can get software for sony dcr-trv22e handycam?

trying to transfer video recording from camcorder to laptop, i have the rquired lead but when connecting i am asked to install software, is there anyway around it

if you go to the sony website you should be able to download software patch for your camera to enable task required

I remember using Windows Moviemaker!  Switch on your computer.  Next charge up your camcorder, set it to USB streaming, then connect to computer.  computer should see new hardware, then open moviemaker and select camcorder as source.  Press play.  (of course I could have forgotten an important bit of software :-)

Go to the manufacturer's (Sony) website, they generally have a downloads section where you can download the drivers for your model.
