Can anyone tell me who is competing at ripcurl boardmasters this year (2008) ... i can't find a list ANYWHERE!

The Rip Curl Boardmasters is a WQS event featuring the up and coming surfers vying to get on the ASP pro tour.  It is basically like the minor leagues for surfing.  Last year's winner Ben Bourgeois is now on the ASP.  

Check out the first link for the curent ratings on the WQS.  The second link is the schedule.  The third is the current entry list for the Boardmasters (there are only about 15 so far but check back as the event nears).

BTW - Mick Fanning will definitely NOT be there.  In fact, the event window for the ASP Rip Curl Pro Search, the sixth stop on the pro tour, is on at the same time.  They haven't announced the site yet.  I think last year's was in Chile.
