  1. All Black's beat France in the final..and Wales beat the Aussies in the 3rd place playoff

  5. 1987 Rugby WC was won by New Zealand All Blacks at New Zealand.

    France 2nd, Wales 3rd, AUS 4th.

    S.Africa was not playing international rugby because of apartheid, anyway I don't think they would be champs by that year.
