Can anyone tell me why a Kenmore 80 series washer will not automatically advance to 2nd rinse?

The washer does not go to 2nd rinse after spin. The timer has already been replaced, but washer stops after final spin.

Good answer on second rinse switch, but also make sure you are getting cold water. If it is designed cold only in that cycle and it never fills you wont get agitate and timer won't advance either.If you are not getting cold water check screens where hoses connect to machine or mix valve might be bad.

If the timer is good, the only thing left is the 2nd rinse switch or the wires going to it.
