Can anyone tell me why only the white cricket teems have security problems in visiting Pakistan.?

Here's the thing, there has been some political instability in Pakistan in the recent past and some bombing where some really unfortunate people have been killed.  Cricketers are just that, cricketers.  They want to play the game of cricket not politics or war.  

Bombings are indiscriminate.  The people that make these bombs don't really care who they kill or maim, just so long as the get a lot of them or somebody important to make their insane statements. Why should we compel cricketer to face that, just for a game of cricket?

The bottom line is that there is absolutely zero confidence that the security forces in Pakistan cannot assure the cricketers and the people that come to watch that they are not going to be blown up.

BTW I don't think it is a white v non-white problem. That is just a facade.

im not white, im orignaly from pakistan but id be scared to go there as well. its not that they cant protect the players, its the fear and uncertainty of something happening without warning, the fear of never seeing their famillies, the fear of the unknown (kidnapping seems to be a biu hit there). whos to say that pakistan security cant be comprosed with $$$. and with things like this on the mind would these players even perform to their standards??? thinking about bombs and bullets...

I feel for these guys but i also want cricket in pakistan. this is become more of a political problem rather than sports...

Security is of two types. Security from the terrorists and security from the Pakistani pace bowling. These two factors in some way affect the white players not so keen on playing in Pakistan.

Not only Whites..

Any countries will have the same fear on playing in Pakistan..

Because, Pakistan is not all safe for playing condition.

Pakistan never has a interest in their Country's development.

God only helps to pacify their situation..

This is not a whites only problem as you can see by some of the above answers, It is nothing to do with race, colour or religion. It is just good old common sense & protecting our precious young cricketers. If you cannot understand that, then there is no point in trying to explain further.

The South Africans and Australians are racist. The New Zealanders don't want to go because last time they went, a bomb exploded near their hotel (and possibly because last time they went, Shoaib Akhtar decimated their batting lineup).
