Can anyone tell me why the hard drive on my dish network is always corrupted?

my dish network dvr hard drive is always saying it is corrupt and needs cleaning

It is probably bad.

Have you contacted Dish to see if you can get a replacement receiver or at least a new hard drive? Give Dish a call. I am sure if you talk to the right person the issue will get resolved.

Ignore it.

However, do unplug it from the wall, wait a few seconds and plug it back.

Some people saw the message when they had way too many Timers (more than 35).

You can alway scall Dish of course.
