Can anyone that studies children development, psychology, sociology answer this please???

my mom says i was very inactive as a little kid and just sat down and didn't do anything...but i mean she says i was like this even at a veryyy young age like 3 even slept a lot until very late didnt want to wake up (but before the age of 2 i barelyyyyy slept at all she would often wake up and see me crawling around in the house)....but i mean how could i understand anything at the age of 3 or 4....she gets mad at me and says u were so lazy and kept getting sick because of ur laziness and blames it on me...what could have caused me to be like that and sleep until so late when most kids wake up early and want to play??

I have been sleeping more than usual and been fatigued. I found out that I have Hasimoto's- an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid.

I have a B.A. in psychology and am going back to school for nursing.

Well that is just ridiculous, Your right..You could'nt even begin to comprehend any problem that you may have encountered at that age, If anyone should be held accountable it should be your mother. You could have had a hormonal imbalance, vitamin defincency, inadaquate atmosphere for child rearing..not sure but you are not the culprit in your lathargic state...your mother should have seeked medical assistance for diagnosis..and i would prompt you, if still encountering the same issues to do the same...Dont blame yourself!!!
