Can anyone think of A free way to convert WMV files to DVD files.?

Im trying to convert my .WMV files to DVD files so that I can play them in My DVD player. I am trying to send a dvd to my friend that I made and I am having a terrible time trying to find a free way that doesnt have a watermark in it. Somebody please help? Its for a good cause. I havent seen My friend in two years and Its a video on how much i miss her.

    This is the link to download Internet Video Converter. It will transcode video files into multiple formats. Once the video is transcoded, just burn it to DVD or CD (depending on file size). The Converter is freeware, doesn't have at trial period or limited function. I've used it a few hundred times without a hitch. The only thing it won't do is give you menus and chapters.

  4. Look in to freeware on google , or the software that came with your dvd burner. I dont know if windows movie maker will do that. I use nero but it may not be free.
