  1. u can let them be a teacher for a day or however long you want them too,  or maybe let them make tests ( like easy vocabulary, or math) for their classmates, and whoever gets the highest score, gets a prize!

  2. have them look up facts about their favorite animal.

  3. you could do a drama and get them involved,

like you could get a few children and split them into groups and give one group the instructions to make a play about a boy or girl who was never good in school and never did well and then later in life they struggle to read etc.

And the other group could be the same but somebody who did do well in school and then later in life they become successful.

  4. What about spelling? Try making a laminated set of alphabets, the size of a deck of cards and put each set in different boxes. You must add commonly used alphabets, like vowels, etc..Put them in groups of three and have them spell a word (they'll have to search the box for the letters so it'll be fun) and the first group of students to form the word with its correct spelling gets the points. Or if u have time to prepare, put Velcro at the back of these laminated cards and have them run from the back of the room to the board to stick each letter. They'll learn to love spelling and they'll certainly look forward the next time you do this activity.
