Totally agree on Evil Dead and The Parent Trap. The Thomas Crown Affair. Get Smart (Does that count? it's TV) A Perfect Murder.

"The Magnificent Seven" ;This was a remake of "Seven Samurai" but nevertheless I like both movies.

The only remake that I like is "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze.  I'm not fond of remakes from the originals, but Roadhouse is an exception, in my opinion.
