  1. I help u revise a few:

Hello, my name is sara. I am from canada. I am 21 years old.

Im from a city called Waterloo.

(Hajimemashite, Sara desu. Canada jin desu. Shushin wa Canada no Waterloo desu. Dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu)

    I am a college student.

    (Daigakusei desu)

It`s a small and quiet city.

(Waterloo wa shizuka no machi desu)

It took me 14 hours from Toronto to Narita, by plane.

(Toronto kara Narita made hikooki de ju yon-ji kan kakarimashita)

I like to play sports, like Hockey and go shopping.

(supotsu to kaimono ga suki desu)

Canada is famous for hockey and Wayne Gretzki)

(Canada ni aiso hokei to Wayne gretzki ga yumei desu)

(Canada no Fuyu ga totemo samui desu)

    Thank you.

  2. Sounds pretty  good!!

It needs a little correction. Carefully read sentences below .

Hello, my name is sara > Hajimemashite, watashi no namae wa Sara Desu.

I am from canada.> Watashi wa Canada kara kimashita

    (  if you want to say " watashi wa canada-jin desu"=  " I 'm  Canadian". )

I am 21 years old> watashi wa 21 sai desu.

I'm from a city called Waterloo> watasi wa Canada no Waterloo  kara kimashita  (" canadano  ouchi wa Waterloo desu" =  My home is located in Waterloo, Canada)

I am a college student> Watashi  wa daigakusei  desu ( Being a student, you needn't say " shigoto wa....", 'shigoto' means a job)

It`s a small and quiet city.> Chiisakute sizukana machi desu.

It took me 14 hours from Toronto to Narita, by plane.

    >Toronto kara Narita made hikooki de ju yo  jikan kakarimasu. ( 14 hours= Jyu yo jikan;  we never say ju yoN jikan)

I like to play sports, like Hockey and go shopping.

(Watashi wa ice-hockey mitaina sports  to shopping ga suki desu.   A like B = B mitaina A, B noyouna A)

Canada is famous for hockey and Wayne Gretzki >

canada wa ice-hockey to Wayne gretzki de yumei desu

My town is very famous for Blackberry. We also have many universities. > Waterloo wa blackberry de totemo yumei  desu. takusan daigaku mo arimasu.

Canadian winters are ALSO very cold > Canada no Fuyu MO totemo samui desu ( if you  say "canadian winter is very cold " = Canadano fuyu WA totemo samui. But, you  say "also" -   you mean you compare winter in Canada with that  in  Japan?)

    Thank you> arigato gozaimasu

    famous:< yumei is correct.yume means dream>.

    Good day !

  5. Here's what we would translate..

Hello, my name is sara. I am from canada. I am 21 years old.

Im from a city called Waterloo.

(hajimemashite, watashi no namae wa Sara Desu. Canada jin desu. Canada no ouchi wa Waterloo desu.)

hajimemashite. watashi no namae wa Sara desu. 21sai de kanada no Waterloo toiu machi kara

    kimashita.

    I am a college student.

    (shigoto wa daigakuse desu)

    daigaku ni zaigakuchu desu.

It`s a small and quiet city.

    (..?..)

chiisana mach desu. (quiet is implied in `a small town`)

It took me 14 hours from Toronto to Narita, by plane.

(Toronto kara Narita made hikooki de ju yon-jin kan kakarimasu)

Toronto kara Narita made ha 14jikan desu.

I like to play sports, like Hockey and go shopping.

(Watashi wa supotsu to shopping ga suki desu...?)

Ice Hockey nado no  sports ya shopping ga sukidesu.

(Canada no Fuyu wa totemo samui desu?)

Canada no fuyu mo totemo samui desu.

    Thank you.

  6. It depends who you're introducing yourself to.  What you have there is mostly grammatically correct (if a little stilted), and fine for introducing yourself to students or other young people. However if these are older or very important people, you would do well to use more humble speech (line number 2).

    1. Hajimemashite.  Namae wa Sara desu.  Kanada no Uotaru to yuu machi kara kimashita.

    2. Hajimemashite. Sara to moh-shimasu.  Kanada no Uotaruu no machi kara mairimashita.

It's been a while since I've had to make self-introductory speeches, but I'm not sure if one normally begins them with 'hajimemashite'; I recall it being used for face-to-face greetings.  But it would be worse to be supposed to say and not say it than to say it unnecessarily, so keep it.

    Nijuu-issai no daigakusei desu.

    Nijuu-issai no daigakusei de gozaimasu.

    (I am a 21-year-old university student)

1&2.Hikohki de, Toronto kara Narita made juu-yon jikan kakarimashita.

    1. Watashi wa hokkii to ka suppotsu ya shoppingu ga suki desu.

    2. Shumi wa hokkii no yoh no suppotsu ya kaimono de goizaimasu.

    1. Yumei na Kanadajin wa aisu hokkii no Wayne Gretzki desu.

    2. Kanada no yumei no mono wa aisu hokkii no Wayne Gretzki desu.

What you have there is grammatically correct, but it means "In Canada only ice hockey and Wayne Gretzky are famous."  Remember to differentiate between 'to' (used for exhaustive lists) and 'ya' (used for inexhaustive lists).  Don't sell your country short!

    1. Uotaruu wa Blackberry no tame ni yumei desho, chisakute shizuka na machi de mo.  Takusan daigaku mo arimasu.

    2. Shusshin no Uotaruu wa chisakute, shizuka desu ga, Blackberry o tsukuru kaisha to daigaku no tame ni yumei nan desho.

When speaking of the fame of one's hometown or home country, using 'desho' in place of 'desu' will make you sound less conceited.

    1. Soshite, Canada no fuyu wa sugoku samui desu.

    2. Shosite, Canada no fuyu wa itatte samuku narimasu.

    1. (Doozo) yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

    2. Doozo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.

One doesn't end self-introductions with 'thank you', one ends them with 'please take care of me.'

Hope this helps, good luck, and enjoy the food while you're there!
