Can anyone who lives in Stockbridge, GA tell me anything about the city itself?

I am moving to an apartment in the Eagles Landing Stockbridge area and I would like to know some general information about the area, ratio of blacks to whites, school systems, crime, traffic, shopping, etc. I realize I could go online and gather this info from the Henry County bureau, but I like to hear what the general public's consensus of the area is first.
