I learned in earth science that nothing, nothing absolutely nothing can change the rate of radioactive decay. I was just wondering if my teacher was right or not. Is there by some chance something that could change the rate of radioactive decay?

  1. Yes, actually the mind can change the rate of radioactive decay and other things such as random number generators or throwing of a dice.  Science has proved this unlike telekinesis.  Thank you, Delv!~

  2. nope there is nothing we can do to change the rate unless some crazy new scifi type technology is invented

  3. Nothing we currently know of can change it.  Of course, we may discover something new.

  4. A nuclear reactor or a nuclear bomb changes the rate of nuclear decay by causing chain reactions due to critical mass.

Extreamly high temperatures and pressures can also do the trick.
