There isn't much difference at all. There is a mall in Buffalo, NY called the Walden Galleria and it's very popular with Canadians. The parking lot is usually half New York cars and half Ontario cars. When you go in the mall, you can't tell the difference between the Americans and Canadians, they're all shopping at the same stores, the most popular thing to buy is usually electronics.
