  4. Well, anything with sugar can be turned into wine.

    It just will not be a very nicely drinking wine.  

    If it were tasting good, someone would have made Asparagus Wine long time ago.

  5. No it cannot - it is too strong in taste to make a good wine.  Try something like elderberries, strawberries, raspberries, sloe berries, cranberries, blackberries, the list is almost endless in what you can use as a substitute and these all make excellent tasting wines.

    Dandelion wine is made with the flowers. Asparagus wine would be like ipecac.
