Question:

Can atheists get prophetic messages from God regarding the presidential race?

I'm an atheist, and yet I have just "received" the following prophecy in my head:

"and he shall cometh from a church of hatred, wearing a big grin and no stain. No qualifications shall he bear for office, yet his racial make-up and comely appearance soley carry his unstoppable ascension.

The sheeple before him shall chant 'change, change, change' but are unable to explain what they mean. His wife shall openly hate the country, yet his smile shall assuageth the herd."

Now, I know this is not from God because I have no good reason to believe its any more than a thought in my head. However, if you believe in a God or God's, then you must be open to the possiblity that God is using me as a prophet. After all, he can use anyone...right?

  1. God will put Mcain in office

  2. If you're an atheist then why are you even considering the fact that this could be from "god"? Gosh, I think you're going crazy and need to sort out your beliefs buddy.

  3. An arrogant man is all that is necessary to start a religion. Sexual perversion, snake oil antics and a hunger for power are also bonuses.

  4. God uses prophets that seek Him.

You have an interesting view but not likely a prophetic message.

  5. You sure got the wordiness right.

  6. Nope I get them from neutral news sources and they say Nader will probably carry 4 states 3 of them key ones . Go Nader .

  7. that certainly sounds like something god would say.  please keep spreading your message

  8. Robert P.  God uses the prophets that seek him?  Try telling that fish story to Jonah.  Jonah did everything he could to try and keep God from using him as a prophet, and all it got him was a few days in the belly of a big fish.

As for the prophetic ramblings above:  Are you going to post it in Vegas and get some big money starting to lay odds?  I'd pick Obama as a straight win, but McCain to cover the electoral point spread and take office.

  9. The bible says that Satan is the ruler of this world and if you don't believe me, read a newspaper.

  10. If you would have received (and posted) that prophetic message a year ago, it would be much more impressive by now.
