  1. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Don’t even try it. You will have a very dead tree came spring.

    Take it inside and put it someplace where it will get as much light as possible and water it sparingly – wait until the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the soil has dried before you water it again. Unless it remains actively growing – then it can be watered after the top inch of soil has dried.

    Come spring you can put it back outdoors in the shade until it gradually gets used to it permanent home.


  2. No, but if you really want to you can get Dwarf Avocado that you can bring inside for the Winter.

    They die at around 15 F.   Don't even handle a freeze well.
