Each person needs a passport. We flew to Europe when my daughter was 3 months old and she had her own passport. Sorry, there's another $100 to pay!

Tonalc is right, even if they are only days old. Baby has to go through the same passport process as everyone including a head shot. Sear's is especially good at passport pictures for little babies. The entire process takes a few months, so don't procrastinate.

Most definitely will need a Passport if traveling from the US and back to it.  Kinda silly considering how much they change in a few months let alone how much they will have changed by the time the passport expires.  Child passports are only valid for 5 years versus the 10 years of validity of adult passports.
